I have been using Sweet PDZ for years. The last time I went to purchase some, they were out and gave me a bag of Stall Dry instead. I was not too happy, since I was a dedicated PDZ customer...but I needed something and took it. I WAS THRILLED! It did everything Sweet PDZ does and Then Some! It really helped to reduce the Flys! SD not only took care of the ammonia & flies but the shaving dried out too & lasted longer. I became a believer and went back and bought all of the rest of the Stall Dry they had.

I have used Stall Dry for years. It is the best product out there. My horse stalls NEVER have any odor after using it. As odd as this sounds, I have actually received compliments that my stalls have no odor or flies...I am so impressed with your product.

I have used Red Lake Earth as a natural dewormer for my horses for the past three years.  It does a good job.

One of our horses is exceptionally clean in her stall. She won't mess up her nice fluffy bedding and prefers to go outside, even in freezing weather, to do her business. The other, in contrast, does everything in her stall regardless of the weather. She's lazy and has earned the nickname "Pig" for her habits. Victoria Feeds - The Horse & Hound in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada recommended Absorbent Products Ltd. Stall Dry for our situation. We bought the 40 pound bag which was around $13.00 Cdn without taxes.

Likes: This is a miracle product. We had a hard time controlling the ammonia smell in the one horses stall no matter what products we tried in the past. I applied some Stall Dry, as per the bags instructions, and voila - the ammonia smell was gone almost immediately!

Dislikes: There's nothing I dislike about Stall Dry. The claims the company has made about this product seem true to me. The only thing I could recommend would be that they include a scoop in the bag, but it's not a huge deal. (I think we all have small containers laying around we could use to scoop the product out).

Quality: Composed of a natural blend of diatomaceous earth and clay in granular form (similar to cat litter). Neutralizes ammonia and controls odour and moisture. There's also a subtle scent added (the company describes it as "minty-woody"). Reduces bedding costs, improves your animals comfort and saves on labour. Safe to use on dirt, wood, concrete, metal and rubber surfaces because it's non-caustic and non-toxic. I found the company website to be excellent and provide a great deal of information about all of their products. The layout is clean and easy to navigate and I found what I was looking for right away.

Summary: An awesome product - I wish we'd found it sooner!
